StudentMower Network (including, without limitation, StudentMower, StudentScooper, StudentShoveler, StudentWasher, HighSchoolSitter, StudentDetailer, StudentTechHelp, and StudentElderCare, collectively the "StudentMower Network") is a locator and communications platform only.

We are not a service provider, employment agency, contracting company, or recommendation service. The platform functions as an online directory that allows users to:

• Browse available student service listings in their area;
• View limited profile information provided by students; and
• Make initial, direct contact with students through our communication tools.

StudentMower Network does not employ, supervise, or control any student or user listed on the platform.

2. No Endorsement, Screening, or Verification

StudentMower Network and its affiliates do not:

• Endorse, recommend, or guarantee any student, user, or service;
• Conduct background checks, criminal history reviews, or identity verification;
• Confirm the accuracy, completeness, or authenticity of any information provided by users or students;
• Provide insurance, bonding, or warranties for any service or transaction;
• Assume responsibility for or participate in hiring, contracting, or payment arrangements; or
• Mediate, arbitrate, or resolve disputes between users and students.

All profiles, descriptions, and communications are provided solely by independent users and are not verified by StudentMower Network.

3. User Responsibilities

Users and students are solely responsible for:

• Conducting their own due diligence prior to any engagement;
• Verifying identity, experience, references, and background;
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws (including labor, tax, and safety regulations);
• Obtaining and maintaining appropriate insurance or liability coverage if desired; and
• Managing, monitoring, and resolving all aspects of the service relationship directly.

Engagements arranged through the platform are private agreements between independent parties. StudentMower Network is not a party to, and bears no responsibility for, any resulting arrangement or transaction.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StudentMower Network, its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any claim, injury, damage, loss, cost, or expense arising from or related to:

• Services performed or not performed by students listed on the platform;
• Acts, errors, omissions, negligence, misconduct, or fraud by any user or student;
• Quality, safety, accuracy, or timeliness of any service;
• Personal injury, property damage, theft, or financial loss;
• Unauthorized or illegal activities; or
• Any interruption, error, or data breach related to the platform.

Your sole and exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with the platform is to discontinue use of it.

5. Elder Care Services Disclaimer

StudentElderCare facilitates only non-medical companionship and household assistance. Students are not licensed caregivers or healthcare professionals and may only provide:

• Companionship and social interaction;
• Light household assistance (e.g., tidying, simple meal prep, errands);
• Transportation or accompaniment to non-medical appointments;
• Technology or communication support with family.

Students may not provide medical care, medication management, health monitoring, physical lifting, or personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility assistance). Emergency medical situations must be directed to 911 or licensed professionals.

6. Assumption of Risk

By using the StudentMower Network platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Students listed on the platform are independent individuals, not employees, agents, or representatives of StudentMower Network;
• Most students are not licensed professionals, not bonded, and do not carry commercial insurance;
• The services offered are generally informal or "odd jobs" performed on a casual, independent basis;
• You assume all inherent risks associated with engaging a student for such services, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, incomplete work, or dissatisfaction with the outcome.

By engaging any student or using this platform, you expressly agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless StudentMower Network, its founders, owners, affiliates, successors, and representatives from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of or in connection with:

• The performance or non-performance of any service;
• Accidents, injuries, or property damage;
• The student's lack of insurance, bonding, or professional licensure; or
• Any other cause beyond the direct control of StudentMower Network.

Your use of the platform constitutes full acknowledgment and acceptance of these risks and this waiver of liability.

7. Platform Availability and Accuracy

StudentMower Network makes no guarantees regarding:

• The availability or reliability of any student or service;
• The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of listings or profiles;
• Continuous, error-free, or secure platform operation; or
• Ongoing participation of any student or user.

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Disclaimer and all related terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal action arising from or related to the platform shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Marion County, Indiana.
